Deaf Blind Awareness Week 2010

It was Deaf Blind Awareness Week on 21st – 25th June 2010  below is what we did at coHearentVision to help people learn more about dual sensory loss.

Details of the week

Monday 21st June coHearentVision have teamed up with the little hiccups and asked a local school the Shire oak Church of England primary school to join in there will be some pupils who will come up to Shire view and do some singing with the kids.  There are guess what’s in the box competitions on every day items and lots of crafty thing to do using all their senses!

Wednesday 23rd June the choir from the same school will be coming to sing again at Shire View.

Friday 25th June is are exhibition Day with lots of companies  who will be showing all the latest equipment.

Please come and join us for our Deaf Blind Exhibition at Shire View shire view pictureon Friday 25th June 10-2pm

There will be Stalls with the latest equipment and daily living aids, advice and information.
and trained Guides will be available to assist you round the stalls.
