Interpreting services
coHearentVision’s Sign Language Interpreting Service (SLIS) is based at coHearentVision, and was established in 1995. The service provides a confidential and impartial sign language interpreting service to all deaf people living within the West Yorkshire area.
SLIS ensures that deaf people can access every part of life, without themselves ever having to pay for an interpreter; the service is free to deaf people and is theirs by right Interpreters are paid for by Service providers. (follow this link for Information on the Disability Descrimination Act)
